Nested filesystem

Hi All,

We have Production app using the UNC path as \\nas\prod\ktr\cdi

under this we have 20 subdirectires. Right now we are running out of inodes of 256 million and we are looking for using the NMFS. Is there any way we can Create filesystem under \\nas\prod\ktr\cdi to replace the subdirectories as filesystem.

I am able to go 1 level and not able to reach to the cdi. If any one has procedure for this would be great help.

Thanks for your email. Hoe far we can create the nmfs

If I need
sgnaswin\prod1\htrprod1\edi1
sgnaswin\prod1\htrprod1\edi1> followed by filesystem

Hi Gopal ,

You will not be able to do this

you need to create a new NMFS and then create multiple filesystems in it and move data from the existing File System subfolder to it
