NAS files not closing when optimizing smbv2 connections w/ Steelhead (Riverbed)

Has anyone experienced multitudes of open files that will not close when using Riverbed's steelhead applicance in concert with the NAS datamovers (VNX and NS series)?   Our network support sent us some steelhead logs and a solution that we need to upgrade our DART code to 7.0.52 to fix the problem.  We're experiencing so many open files that windows can't display them all.   We've rebooted one of many datamover as a 'band-aid' fix until we upgrade the DART in a few days.  We've noticed this issue globally (we have 4 sites experiencing this issue).  Below is  Riverbed's support take:

ISSUE

Close request failing resulting in numerous open file handles on EMC filer.

Steelhead logs will contain following waring level messages indicating that close request has failed for a particular file ID.

SOLUTION

This issue is caused by an EMC bug which has been fixed in the following NAS software versions.

NAS code 6.0.60.2

NAS code 7.0.52
