Max number of cifs open files on Celerra

What is the max number of open files under cifs on Celerra ? If someone could point towards documentation it would be great.

A followon question. How can I determine for a specific fs the current number of open files.

Just download the release notes for your current DART version from Powerlink – it is in the Technical Guidelines section

Server_cifs can show you open files

In addition to server_cifs, don't forget that the much of the same information you can obtain from a traditional Windows fileserver via the Computer Management MMC snap-in, can also be similiarly obtained for a CIFS server on a Celerra/VNX.

Therefore, the same "Open Files" view is available if you connect to the (Celerra/VNX) CIFS server from within the Computer Management Console in Windows.

Just providing another option.

and from doc, the max figure is 200,000. This is an impact on memory available on dm. I am off to run cmd line query to determine current state. Tks for answers.
