locally created control station user no longer able to execute server_stats after upgrading 5.6 --> 6.0

Hello,

Years ago I  created a separate 'operator' account for periodically running server_stats and condensing those into a set of files subsequently consulted by a remote monitoring platform performing ssh-style accesses to the Control Station. Worked like a charm.

Yesterday EMC Remote Change Management upgraded our NS80 to the latest DART en FLARE, following which this user was no longer authorized to execute 'server_stats' --> ERROR (13422428165): The user is not authorized to perform the specified operation.

It had/has role 'operator'.

It appears you need role 'nasadmin' to be able to execute 'server_stats'.

Can someone confirm this ?

I feel uncomfortable giving 'nasadmin' level access to people only needing to come and consult some statistical/performance data on the appliance.

Thank you,

Eric Luyten, Computing Centre VUB/ULB, 128 TB NS80 + 50 TB NS480.
