Invalid uid (-2), more than max_allowed_id - in logs
Hi,
have a customer site which only call if there are issues, getting very slow backups (secure CIFS via Network presented shares - they currently do not have the NDMP option on thier backups 'working on this").
its been fine for ages, EMC upgraded the code on the CISCO fabric switches at the weekend - now its going slow.
Cannot finid any issues with the fabrix set up (still checking).
But noticed this in the logs - CFS:3:[VDM name ] invalid uid (-2), more than MAX_ALLOWED_ID
so far I cannot find any details on this, currently checking the output of usermapper.
anyone come across this before?
regards

Hi,
just checking all changes which occured over the weekend, and yes - as no NDMP - its all across the LAN (not the best, client is aware) so Fabric should not be an issue.

if you are not using NDMP then how Cisco fabric switches could be related to the problem ?
