Enable usermapper in Celerra.
# server_usermapper -enable

PLEASE – don’t re-enable user mapper lightly
IF the usermapper is disabled on a customer system then its done on purpose because the customer wants to use a different user mapping source
Plus it does NOTHING to help the original question – whether the usermapper is enabled or not doesn’t change that the XML API returns SID’s for quota information and not Windows user names.
The Celerra uses SID’s internally so its just natural that it reports SIDs
If you want the Windows user name you need to do a lookup with the DC
Or query the secmap (that stores it as a side effect – if it was queryable when the entry was created)
The nas_quotas CLI doesn’t report Windows user names either

It is enabled by default – if it is currently disabled then it was on purpose for a hopefully good reason

Hello Naren
I agree with Rainer on this, please consult your peers who have done the configuration of usermapper as if it configured incorrectly can lead to Data Unavailable situation. Please be careful when you do any modification with usermapper configuration. You can also check the document on usermapper if that helps.
Thanks
Samir
