Can someone help me?

How to delete nas disk, in the senario by mistake we already deleted all luns.

VNX model 7500. OE 7.0

Did you try “nas_disk –delete -perm ?

Yes

[nasadmin@vnx ~]$ nas_disk -delete d476 -perm

Error 3501: Storage API code=5033: SYMAPI_C_CLAR_AGENT_ERROR

A Clariion agent error occurred

If you are unable to access this article, please follow the below steps:

Ensure that the disk in question is unused. If not delete, the clients that it uses:

  • Create new LUN at the backend storage using same ALU.
  • Attempt to delete again using same above command, that is, nas_disk -d d28 -p.

This will verify the existence of the ALU and if it exists, it will remove the disk successfully from the NASDB

Hope there is no logical stuff on the disk. if the disk was removed from the stroage group then you can run below command which will query the disks accessible by the file controller and update the table accordingly.

 

nas_diskmark

-mark {-all | } [ -discovery {y |n }] [-monitor {y |n }]
