How to activate "Accept Always" for cert- connecting to unisphere
When I launch the Unisphere client and connect to either one of my celerras, I always get the certificate prompt and it contains 5 buttons. Details, Accept for Session, Accept Always, Reject and Help. I would click Accept Always so I am not nagged by this nuisance prompt each time, however this is the only button that is grayed out.
Any idea how to "activate" this button so I can get rid of these time wasting prompts?
Also I have a domain wildcard cert. Maybe there is a way to install that without disrupting the production data? Then the cert would match and there should be no prompt at all. How would I do that?

Flare Operating Environment 02.23.050.5.710
Good point. Yes this prompts when connecting to the back end SP-A and SP-B, as well as connecting to the Celerra front end.
I will check out the primus article next.

Frontend: Celerra NX4 Software version 6.0.51-6
Backend: Clariion AX4-5F8 FLARE-Operating-Environment 02.23.050.5.710
I tried option 1 in the primus. I am on Windows 7 so the path was different:
C:\Users\ \appdata\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security
I already had a trusted.jssecerts file so I created a folder "backup" and copied that file along with trusted.certs in there. Then I deleted trusted.jssecerts and made a copy of trusted.certs and renamed that copy to trusted.jssecerts. Therefore both of those files are now identical.
However it still did not allow the "Accept Always" button in Unisphere. I have to use the Unisphere client icon because if I just launch IE9 on Windows 7 It just shows a blue screen (no way to log in or do anything). But the Unisphere client icon points to: ""C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\UIClient\index.html"" and that works after going through the IE9 prompts to activate java, allow popups, etc...
We do have a domain wildcard cert in an intermediate.crt format and also an IIS p7b formatas well as a pfx file. I'm not sure if any of these would be a help because if this equipment had this cert maybe it would be 'trusted' automatically and we wouldn't even get any prompts. Running production data I wouldn't want to do anything disruptive or break communication between the front end and back end though. I'm not sure if they talk to each other through the certs and if in the process changing them (if at all even possible) would bring systems offline. We are also running Celerra replicator from one system to another over a 30mbps WAN link.
Thank you for your assistance. I greatly appreciate it!
