Help Getting CIFS perms correct from Linux smbmount.
Having trouble working through some permissions issues, hope someone has solved this before.
2003 AD Domain
CentOS 5.3
mount -t cifs -s -o credentials=/etc/samba/smb_cred,workgroup=### //sharename/share /mnt
does not show the same acl's as on NFS.
ls -al /mnt/filename.pl
-rwxrwSrwx 1 root root 662 Jul 11 2011 filename.pl
/mnt/filename.pl
Setuid/gid script is writable by world.
No Events found!

Please consider moving this question to the proper forum as-is (no need to recreate) for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Celerra Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.
