Have a question regarding the First Five Luns assigned to Celerra.
Hi,
We have a Celerra NS-480 attached to the Clariion NS-480, We have assinged around 750 GB of space to the Celerra Clar_r5_performace pool. And then the first Five Luns which contain the NAS OS.
If we are performing a clean up, can we remove the First Five Luns? Can anybody help me in that.

what do you mean by "clean up" ? If you delete those NAS OS LUNs, Celerra is toasted.

sure, if you have verified that the LUNs are not in use (nas_disk -l), you can delete the dvols as well as the LUNs.
nas_disk -delete d44 -perm -unbound

No what I meant by clean up was that, can we reclaim the space allocated to the clar_r5_performance, without touching the OS Luns…..will it cause any issues on the Celerra, we do not have any file systems on that Celerra. And the celerra is not in production
Thanks and Regards

Its just my overly conservative side coming out of me... anytime I hear "Can I delete this or that"..
I raise all kinds of flags.

Not really – nas_disk wont let you remove dvols that are still in use
