FSN RE-CONFIG.

hi all,

i have a question about FSN re-configuration.

Is there a way to remove one phisical device from an FSN device?

In other words is it possible to leave an fsn device with only one phisical link??

We are using cge0 and cge1 (active/passive) in fsn configuration for "iscsi" purposes. Now....we need to reconfigure cge1 to export cifs shares on another (phisical) network, but we can't stop iscsi hosts.

Any help is appreciated...

Thanks

Carlo

Hi,

unfortunately it's currently not possible.

You need to remove all interfaces that uses this FSN, remove the FSN, then recreate the interfaces on the single device.

Please, file an NFR for this. I am sure other customers also would benefit from this enhancement.
