File Replicator
Hello I´m working with File Replicator (celerra replicator / vnx replicator), and I have a question.
I have a Celerra NS42G (CX4-240) that it will be replaced by a new VNX 5600.
We have a Celera NX4 and a VNXe replicating to this Celerra NS42G, can I replicate current data from the celerra NS42G to the new VNX and then configure File replicator from NX4 and VNXe to the VNX so I dont have to replicate everything from the NX4 to the new VNX?
I want to avoid the full replication do to all this 3 storage are in diferrent places.
thank you

No what I was looking...
My idea is to copy all the data from the celerra to the new VNX and then create a manual checkpoint and only do a refresh between the NX and the VNXe, to avoid full syncronization between the storages, is this possible?
thank you

I'm not familiar with the VNXe, but I believe the procedure you are referring to is called incremental attach. Replicate the NS42G to the VNX. Stop host access to the filesystems you are cutting over, create a fs_ckpt of the source file systems on the NX4 and VNXe, refresh replications on the source (NX4/VNXe) and refresh on the old target (NS42G), delete replications between NS42G and VNX and also between NX4/VNXe to NS42G, and then create replication on NX4/VNXe from the base checkpoint to the VNX. That's a high level overview of the incremental attach procedure.

Great that was what I was looking for, great, thank you Chris
Now I just need to verify the VNXe to be sure this could complete work.

I am not sure if you can use incremental attach with a VNXe
You would have to drive it from the VNX side
I would suggest to try with a small test fs

Hello All,
Can i get any documention to configure the replication between Celera to VNX. I have configured the same however i need to submit the document to the customer ... I have downloaded one doc but it was content protected so cannot copy any data from that... If anyone have the document kindly inbox me at ragavs2908@outlook.com
Thanks in advance,
