Does a Celerra device has support for SMIS Provider?
Hi All,
I have following questions
Does EMC provides SMI-S interface for celerra? if yes where i can find the specification documents and provider software ?
In case of integrated platform model, does SMI-S provides backend diskarray details such as storage pools/ processors/raid group, etc...

Hi,
AFAIK there are already is a SMI-S provider (documentation should be on Powerlink) for the Clariion.
A SMI-S provider for the Celerra is planned for the next DART release.
If you are a member of the Celerra Developer Program I believe you should have a special contact to get more info.

You’re welcome
The SMI-S provider is in the DART 6.0 release which was just announced – I would expect the documentation for that to be on Powerlink around the first week of September
