Display

Does display command works in celerra? I have an image in control station and i used display command to dispaly it, got out put command not found.

i'm just looking for a command so that i can open  any jpg, png etc. extension file. Do we have any command for in celerra?

I wrote a script which using display command to open jpg, png file but it seems command not working in celerra.

In simple way if i say a rama.jpg file store in /home/nasadmin.

when do i issue command #display rama.jpg , it should work or not? and i'm geeting output command not found.

it's not on the control station

cd /

find . -name display

if it does not find anything, that program is not there.

i didn't get any result..i'm not sure what you trying to find out........?

that tells you that "display" command does not exist on the control station. Why do you want to display image off the control station anyway, why not connect to Celerra using CIFS or NFS and use client side tools ?

The control station uses an EMC Linux distribution with just the commands needed for the operation of the system – its NOT a general purpose system

I guess display is part of the X11 package which isn’t there

Doesn’t make much sense since the control station doesn’t use graphics – just an ASCII CLI

Maybe you want to explain more broadly what you want to do ?
