Different security information with Win7 and WinXP on files&folders

Hi there,

I've a problem with viewing security informations of files and folders from a win7 64bit and a winXP 32bit computer. With the winXP I see the permission "everybody" with full access and no more entries.

With win7 it shows that there are no permissions and therefore nothing can be displayed.

Why does win7 not show the everybody entry like winXP?

Any ideas?

Is it possible the account or crendentials are not completely the same between the two systems? The XP and Win7 systems I use are in different OUs, and have different GPOs applied to them.

OK, so there is no difference when you look at the security informations of a folder from a winXP and a win7 system?

We have a directory that looks different when showing the security information from within a winXP and a win7 computer. I' just want to know if there is a generally thing to have in mind when using 64bit win7 and 32bit winXP together on shares on a VNX5500 (NAS 7.0.53).
