Data Mover hardware misconfigured
Hello EMC gurus,
I request your help for a difficult situation on a NS702 :
The primary Data Mover has switched on the standby.
The customer activity is operational on the standby data mover (slot 3).
I have checked the hardware configuration, and the Control Station serial ports were incorrectly connected :
Slot 2 connected to S2 should be S1
Slot 3 connected to S3 should be S2
After a complete shutdown, I have corrected that.
But now, I get :
[nasadmin@nas_cs0 ~]$ /nas/sbin/getreason
10 - slot_0 primary control station
14 - slot_2 hardware misconfigured
5 - slot_3 contacted
[nasadmin@nas_cs0 ~]$
Could you give me some guidelines how to check and correct the Slot 2 configuration before to restore on slot 2 ?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Celerra Support Forum".

Hi,
I have checked cabling it was properly done. I have stopped nas services and then PXE boot of the DMs after that both DMs came to config state. When i try to mount the below partitions but i am getting the below error
mount /nbsnas
mount /nas/dos
[root@emc2_CS0 nasadmin]# mount /nbsnas
mount : special device /dev/nde1 does not exist
Please let me know how to proceed further
