Clariion CX300 Celerra

We have a clariion cx300/celerra frame. It has 4 front-end host ports (a0, b0, a1, b1)  that are zoned to the datamovers only.

Can I share these sp ports for open systems and utilize the array for san attached hosts?

thanks.

Ok – it sounds like you have a Celerra gateway conntected to a Clariion through Fibre Channel switches

In that case:

Fibre Ports on an CX series CLARiiON can be shared by multiple Celerras and other hosts (proper

zoning and storage group setup is required as documented in the setup guide for your platform).

Hi Jim,

since there is no CX300 Celerra model please check what exact model you have.

Easiest way is to do a /nas/sbin/model on the control station

it's a NS500G.

Navisphere Manager reports the frame as a CX300.

thanks.

great news. I'll  have to find the setup guide for the frame.

Thanks.
