CIFS Migration from NS350 to NS120
This is my first time and would appreciate some basic guidance. Our Engineer copied the data over but I do not see any shared (name$) in the console. I also trust the test CIFS where we copied the data needs to be part of our AD enviornment but not sure of the process. Is there a doc someone can point me to that defines how to create one from scratch or/and how to migrate using Replicator. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
if the Cifs are configured on VDM , you can use switchover replication option
refer the document

There is also a good walk-through on PowerLink that demonstates a basic scenario. Even though the target is a VNX, you should still be able to follow along. It can be found via the following breadcrumb trail on PowerLink:
Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > VNX Series > White Papers
White Paper: Migrating Data from an EMC Celerra Array to a VNX Platform Using Celerra Replicator
