Celerra Rep v2
NS80 5.6, Rep V2. I have a file system fs1 in pool1, that is currently replicating to DR box and I want to migrate that to a different local pool (pool2) by doing a local replication with a name fs1_replica1 and during the cutover, I will unmount fs1 and mount fs1_replica1 on the / /fs1 location and the shares will come up fine. During this procedure, to unmount the filesystems I will have to delete all replications and also delete root_rep/snapsure checkpoints. My question is, If I delete the replication, replication checkpoints will be lost and I will have to replicate everything back to DR and it is 7 TB of data. Is there a way I can establish replication from fs1_replica1 to DR fs1 filesystem without replicating data all over again? Does any one have the procedure that can be shared?
Second question. I want to set maxsavesize value for the file system to stop it growing too large and if I set this value and if there is not much space left in sav, will it casue any issues to local/replication checkpoints? We usually keep 4 days worth of checkpoints ( 2daily) and it is a 7 TB file system and not sure when will the checkpoint COFW fill the sav vol size if I dont monitor and reset the maxsavsize.
$ fs_ckpt fs1_replica1 -modify maxsavsize=100G
