Hi,
FLARE is for the backend Clariion and the OS which run on Celerra is DART
to check backend FLARE version : /nas/sbin/navicli -h getagent
to check the Celerra DART version : nas_version
Thanks and Regards

have you tried the command as root ?
also cat the file:
cat /home/nasadmin/.bash_profile
check if these entries are there
NAS_DB=/nas
export NAS_DB
