Cannot save existing file on CIFS share
I have a user who is unable to save an EXCEL document on a CIFS share. Every time the user attempts to save the file he receives a message indicating that the file is in use. When I check the open files on the CIFS server the user is the only one with the file open. Any suggestions as to what may be going on? NAS code is currently 5.6.51-3 on a NS480.

Hi,
Is this issue only with excel files? , is that for a particular file or all the excel files ?

The folder the user is saving files is EXCEL files only. I'll have him try additional file types.
