Cannot run Unisphere 1.0.0.28 on most PCs

I cannot get Unisphere 1.0.0.28 our Celerra to run on anything other than an older Win XP with IE 8 and Java 1.6.0.23. All other attempts, even with the same version of Java, on Windows 7 fail. I also have tried using Chrome and Firefox with no luck, along with various versions of Java. What I get instead of the login screen is the message "Session timeout. Relogin and try this operation again."

Anyone know how I can manage my Celerra without having to keep an old XP computer handy? (I keep one going on a VMWare workstation session just for accessing Unisphere.

I saw mention of a Windows snap-in for Celera. Is that still available or even useful?

We have IE 9 on our Windows 7 PCs. Also just tried in in Windows 8 with IE 10 and Chrome. Java 1.7.9. Same result. is there some Java setting that needs to be changed?

The release notes for your VNX OE or UniSphere version should list what versions are supported

Figured out the problem. I had been connecting to http:\\Celerra_IP\login.html. If I just use http:\\Celerra_IP it works correctly. For some reason it did not like the earlier version which worked with the ...\login.html parameter.
