Can I use AV server against multiple data movers?
Hi there
Can I use 1 av server against multiple data movers?
We have ns-480 with 4 dms and I'd like to configure 1 farm of av servers against all those dms.
Basically server_2, server_3, server_4 are all with same configuration using av-server-1, av-server-2, av-server-x.
If possible maybe our vnx would use same av-servers, depending on the network.

Yes you can use one AV server (or better a pool of AV servers) for multiple data movers or even multiple systems
We do recommend to have more than one AV server for redundancy
Look at the CAVA/CEE manuals at the options what the system should do if no AV server is available
