2TB Sata pool
I inadvertently created a R5 sata disk pool (2 6+1 r5 groups plus 1 HS) on our NS960 instead of a 12+2 Raid6. I didn't notice it until after I had placed production data on it.
How bad is this? I can be in a position to create another 2TB sata disk pool on the same celerra frame and migrate over.
any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks.

once you delete all file system that use that pool, simply "nas_disk delete -perm" and then reconfigure your raid groups.

if you have room in other pools, copy file systems there and re-create this pool

I figured as much. rebuild times on 2TB sata is too long for raid5. I don't have extra capacity now but we're purchasing 15 addl 2TB sata disks.
what does it take to reclaim the original pool once I have migrated the filesystems off of it?
