VRTX Shared storage is not accessible in servers

I have Dell Poweredge VRTX with 2 blade servers. all were working good , and the vrtx got off due to ups issue. The server was not powering on after and had to replace the cmc cards. Now the vrtx and servers are up, but not able to access the shared storage from any of the servers. Have tried assigning to slots again but didnt work. Can anyone help pls.

Hi, you can check some below steps. Hope one of them may helpful. 

  • Log in to the CMC and got to Storage --> Controllers there you will see Fault Tolerant Mode if it shows Active/Passive it means one is active the other one will step in when there is an issue.
  • Update the firmware of the PERC 8 card and the CMC card. This may help to resolve any compatibility or stability issues.
  • Reseat the PERC 8 card, the SAS cables, and the storage controller battery. 
  • Swap the positions of the PERC 8 card and the CMC card. This may help to reset the communication between the PERC 8 card and the CMC card.
