VRTX ready for only 2 blades
Hi,
We have a VRTX chassis with 2 blades we want to expand but I found that is not ready for more blades.
Is there a possibility of expanding it or does the entire chassis have to be replaced?.

Those metal backs will push out of the way once you slide a blade into the chassis.
They are there to stop air from flowing through sections that don't need cooling at the moment.

Jtejada.ralco,
The VRTX will support 4 half hieght blades, so I would assume that you are seeing the blank used to block it off for cooling purposes. If possible, are you able to remove it? If so then let me know if you see the connections afterwards.
Let me know what you see.
