Unable to upgrade from OME-M firmware version 1.00.10 – No available upgrade path
Hi,
I am currently managing a Dell PowerEdge MX7000 chassis with the OME-M (Management Module) firmware at version 1.00.10.
According to the official OME-Modular Firmware Update Matrix, there is no supported direct upgrade path from version 1.00.10 to any of the later firmware versions (e.g., 1.10.00, 1.20.00, etc.). This effectively leaves the chassis stuck on an outdated version without a documented upgrade path.
Could you please advise on how to proceed with upgrading from this version?
Is there an intermediate firmware or special process that can be provided to allow this transition?
Your guidance or a specific upgrade kit would be greatly appreciated, as we need to move forward with planned updates and improvements.

Following up on my previous message — the concern I raised was based on the official OME-Modular Firmware Update Matrix, which indicates that there is no direct upgrade path from version 1.00.10 to any later version. Based on that information, I understood that an intermediate step or special process might be required.
That said, I went ahead with the update and was able to successfully apply version 1.10.00. With this version now in place, I’m able to proceed along the standard upgrade path.
