Upgrade Avamar v.7.0.2-47 to v.7.1.1.145 problem
When I try to upgrade Avamar physical appliance from v.7.0.2-47 to v. 7.1.1.145 i have problem. I am using Avamar Enterprise Manager and when I try to download AvamarUpgrade711 on AW Upgrades, there is the message:
Avamar Downloader Service status message:
Package: AvamarUpgrade711
Error: Checksum validation for downloaded file failed
Is there any idea what could be a problem?

Only the EMC Remote Change Management team and select members of the Professional Services organization are authorized to perform Avamar upgrades. Upgrading the system yourself may invalidate your warranty. Please contact EMC support to have an upgrade scheduled.

Hello,
At the begin let me say, that as far as I know upgrades are allowed to be done only with EMC support, you can only open support case with query for upgrade and EMC will do it for free for you. If you have payed maintenace.
As far as I see the error, your download failed so checksum for bundle is not correct. Try download again and check checksum before running installation.

I tried for a few times, download started and few seconds ago stopped with that message. I do not like idea that someone else, even EMC, doing it for me.

One other point. You cannot perform Avamar upgrades from the Enterprise manager. This is because the Enterprise manager is upgraded by the Avamar Server Upgrade.
This is one of the many reasons why Avamar Server upgrades can only be performed by Engineers who are Certified for this special operation.
