Strategy to avamar backup of SAP with Oracle configured with ASM

it looks like it does not support the backup of SAP if i'm using ORACLE ASM, if not this brings me to this question:

on this scenario (SAP+ORACLE+ASM) its posible to backup the SAP's  DBs using Oracle Plugin? and backup using RMAN instead of BRTools?
