restore VM without changing its UUID?

Hi guys, I'm currently using Avamar 19.4 and would like to know

if the target VM (backup by Avamar) requires the same UUID no matter how this VM being restored, can Avamar achieve this?

It seems that this demand related to VMware ESXi and I don't see any function on Avamar that can preserve VM UUID after it's restored.

or maybe some type of VM restore (from Avamar) wouldn't change UUID?
