Renaming a file upon restore

Does anyone know/remember whether Avamar can/could rename a file (to what you want it) upon restore? E.g. rename C:\tmp\test.txt to C:\tmp\test_restore.txt.

In the past I thought we could do that, but I can't get it to work now. Avamar just creates a new directory with the name test_restore.txt and puts the restored file in there.
