Recommeded upgrade practice for new Avamar versions

What is the recommeded upgrade practice for new Avamar versions? We are currently on Avamar version 7.2.1-32 and the latest version is 7.4.0-242.

We are not experiencing any issues on 7.2.1-32 so I was curious what the best practice on upgrading to new versions was - how soon we should upgrade - if any one else is several versions behind as we are, etc. As my company's practice, we like to be one version behind in case the latest version had unknown bugs (we don't like to update to the latest until at least a month has passed since it's release).

I realize the upgrade would take about 3-4 hours and requires an engineer to perform the upgrade as we have a physical server.
