Possible to relocate cache files?

I have a client that's filling up disk space on C: with f_cache.  I know I can limit the growth of the file, but was curious to know if I can also relocate the cache files for this client also.  I thought I recalled an avtar.cmd option, but I could be crazy...

There is a flag called --cachedir that can be used to relocate the cache files. The following thread has more information on how to do that:

This is for an initial seeding of a large file server...around 8TB.  Running 7.1.  I suspect it won't be a major issue after getting it seeded the first time.

Ian, you rock.  Thanks, that's precisely the command I was looking for.  I did quite a bit of searching yesterday and came up empty handed.

Thanks again!

It can be tough to find a flag by description while searching the forums. It's like trying to look a word up in the dictionary when you can't remember how to spell it.

Always happy to help!
