Identify SQL servers from Availability Group backups in Avamar

We have a large number of SQL servers, the majority of which are configured in pairs using SQL Always-On Availability Groups. As a simple example, after the Avamar cluster config wizard is completed we end up with 3 objects in Avamar:

Server1

Server2

Availability Group 1

Backups must be targeted at the Availability Group and this works as expected, backing up from the primary or secondary etc as specified in the dataset but there doesn't seem to be anyway then in Avamar to check simple things like 'which server/agent actually performed the backup', when troubleshooting it would be handy to know which server actually ran the backup, which SQL server was the primary for the AG at that point etc. We can't see anything in the logs that mentions this at all, in fact as far as we can tell the only way to see which server ran the backup is to look at the timestamps of the logs in the \var for the AG on both servers and work it out based on that.

Is there a better way please? Are we missing something obvious?
