How can disable quiesce in 7.5?
I recently upgraded a single avamar node from 7.4 to 7.5
It seems the old attribute of [avvcbimage]quiesce_fs=false no longer works as I still get quiesce errors. Is there a new attribute to disable quiesce in 7.5?

The new API introduced in 7.4+ that supports: description, memory and quiesceSpec to set timeout but cannot directly disable like you could in standard create snapshot API call.
Avamar Bug# 286018 created to have this option included again in 7.4+ releases; ETA is not defined yet to receive the hotifx.
Thanks,

Is there any update to this bug#? We are encountering the same error.

The hotfix has been released. I don't know if it's customer installable so please get in touch with support and they can direct you further.

This does enable you to disable quiesce but, you can only disable for all via the proxy as far as I can tell. You have to add an attribute of --quiesce_fs=false to the avvcbimage.cml on each indiviual proxy after applying the hotfix.
In previous versions you could add this to the dataset for individual policies within avamar.

I'm not sure what you mean. Any flag you can specify in the dataset can be specified in the corresponding .cmd file and vice-versa. There is no functional difference.

Also, if you're trying to update an AVE to 7.5.0, you need to use the update package, not the install package.

Installing or upgrading the Avamar software on physical systems must be done by Dell EMC. AVE is customer installable without a password.
