Hi one of the server backup is failing with "time out before start" error

and client failed to respond a request for its log.

We'll need a little more information to work with.  For starters, have you gone to the server and looked at the local log messages?  You should see if the client can successfully contact the Avamar grid or not.  If you don't see connection messages, you'll want to restart the Avamar service on the affected client, then see if it can now contact the grid.

If you have not done so, open a ticket with EMC.  They can assist you with troubleshooting steps.

I get this every now and then, the best solution I have found.

go to groups/clients and de-activate the client.

log into the client and re-register it.

this usually works for me.

No Events found!
