EBR upgrade

Hi

I have followed the upgrade procedure in documentation emc networker and vmware intergration guide 302-001-580 rev 8

To upgrade our vmappliance. However when kicking off the upgrade it just sits at this screen.

No progress bar and i left it for 23 hours with no progress.

Is there logs i can look at that may guide me to see if the upgrade is progressing?

When i look at the ebr-configure.log under

I get the below.

Hi Thanks

I have found a great document. Thanks to Megha Shrivastava. There was a space issue so had to dump the mcs_data_dump.sql and then support had to do some cleanups of the database. but all is good now.

The installation logs are located in /data01/avamar/repo/temp/ /tmp/workflow.log.

That said, I would recommend opening a service request for VBA upgrade issues.

Have logged the call already speaking to Matthew Hyer. But he is in different time zone. So trying to make progress.

I do not see the workflow logs. I get the above progress screen but i do not see anything appearing in the temp folder. what is the mechanisms behind it where can i check if there is a process i can monitor see if it is working.

If there is no package directory inside repo/temp, the package was likely rejected by the installer. There are different reasons this can happen (e.g. corrupted download, wrong package, etc.). The details of package processing for this package will be found in /usr/local/avamar/var/avi/server_log/avinstaller.log.0 or one of the rolled avinstaller logs (.1, .2, etc.).

Hi Ian

Thanks for the reply i am still awaiting a response from emc on my logged call EMC SR#75805978.

I have checked the log and i see the errors as below.

But when i check the checksum i get it as fine.
