Can't Setting NTP server on Avamar

Hi all,

I have a problem with setting NTP server on Avamar.

The asktime process didn't show the question "Are there other external time servers that you would like to use?".

The following is my testing.

==================================

root@a06-ave-02:~/#: asktime
asktime: INFO: [asktime version 18.2.0-134 (1.26)]
asktime: INFO: Logging to /usr/local/avamar/var/asktime.log
Identity added: /root//.ssh/rootid (/root//.ssh/rootid)
3072 5e:44:d8:f4:e4:b4:ae:14:17:cb:da:e1:c0:b3:a3:4a [MD5] /root//.ssh/rootid (RSA)
asktime: INFO: no NTP time servers selected - this is okay on a single-node
server, but the system time will probably drift.

--------------------------------------------------------
You will need to choose a local time zone, e.g.,
America/Los_Angeles. The name of the local time
zone must be chosen from among the file names in
or below directory /usr/share/zoneinfo.

Do you wish to browse the available top-level time zone
files?
y(es), n(o), q(uit/exit): n
Please enter the name of the local time zone,
using one of the file names under /usr/share/zoneinfo.
Examples:
America/Anchorage
America/Boise
America/Chicago
America/Los_Angeles
America/New_York
Note: this is a Case-Sensitive file name that
MUST exist in /usr/share/zoneinfo.

(Entering an empty (blank) line twice quits/exits.)
> Asia/Taipei
asktime: INFO: local time zone chosen: Asia/Taipei

Generating time configuration files...
[mktime.custom version 1.4]

--------------------------------------------------------
The time configuration files have been created
in the following directory:

/usr/local/avamar/var/time-config-files

Do you wish to proceed with installation of these
files on the selected node?
Answering y(es) will proceed with installation.
Answering n(o) will not proceed, but will leave
available for future use the answers you have
made to the preceding configuration questions.
Answering q(uit) will exit WITHOUT saving your
answers.
y(es), n(o), q(uit/exit): y

--------------------------------------------------------
We need an approximately correct initial date and time.
Here is the current date and time on this host, a06-ave-02:

Fri Nov 13 11:02:10 2020

Please pay close attention to the MONTH, DAY, and YEAR
as well as the time.

Is this correct?
y(es), n(o), q(uit/exit): y
asktime: INFO: Shutting down local instance of ntpd...

--------------------------------
Distributing and installing time configuration files.
Please allow a minimum of 3 minutes. More time may
be required, depending on the number of nodes in the
Avamar system and how busy those nodes are.

If you wish to watch this process, apply this command
in another window:

tail -f /usr/local/avamar/var/timedist.log

You may also find it helpful to monitor the following
file on each node (starting with 0.s):

/usr/local/avamar/var/timesyncmon.log

Time now: Fri Nov 13 11:02:35 CST 2020

Please wait...

--------------------------------------------------------
Done.
NOTES:
* There are no time servers, so ntpd will be disabled.
However, other time-related system configuration will
be done.

* Since ntpd will not be running, expect ntpq to report
"read: Connection refused". That is normal when ntpd
is not running.

* Other problems? Check this log file on the node:
/usr/local/avamar/var/timesyncmon.log
Also, check this log file:
/usr/local/avamar/var/timedist.log
root@a06-ave-02:~/#:

==================================

Does anyone knows how to solve this situation?

Thanks all.
