avtar --expires options

I'm struggling with --expires option in the flag file.

If I set  the option --expires=62 in the flag file.

Explain to me like you would a 10-year old.

1.) If I create a file today.

2.) It is a delta and will be on tonight's backup

3.) I delete this file tomorrow

4.) I wait 61 days and ask to have the file restored from backup. Will it work?

5.) I wait 63 days and ask to have the file restored from backup. Will if fail ?
