Avamar+DataDomain backup on Vcenter 6.7

Hello, I am trying to find solution to use Data Domain as backup destination for Vcenter backup. I don't want to backup entire Vcenter virtual machine (backup takes very long time as VM). Also as a VM running database at the moment on snap shot I can't be sure that the data is in consistent state. So I try to use integrated in Vcnenter backup solution but DataDomain doesn't support any of the protocols that Vcenter require for backup destination. At the moment I do backup on one ftp server and after that I backup ftp directories on file level with Avamar. I will be glad to see who you make it.
