Does somebody known when SQL2019 will be supported?
The plugin does not seems to scan SMO DLL version 15..

Client Version 19.3 supports SQL Server 2019. You need to install the Client Plug-In Catalog for 19.3 on an older Avamar server so the older server will recognise newer clients. We have a customer with Server 19.1 using this method and it works fine.

For the example of Avamar 19.3, download this:
https://dl.dell.com/downloads/DL98843_Avamar-19.3-for-Client-Plugin-Catalog-Upgrades.avp
Then go to your Avamar Server's Installer (AVI) page:
https://[your-avamar-server]/avi
Login as root
Under repository, select Browse from the package upload window. Upload this AVP file. After uploading it will unpack and examine it. When it says package accepted, you can then go to SW Upgrades (or Maintenance, I'm not sure which tab) and you should see this package available to install. Install the package (takes 5-10 minutes) and now your Avamar server will be able to work with 19.3 clients.
For the Client installers themselves, you need the download the Client Downloads package:
Avamar 19.3 for Client Upgrades (about 4.3GB)
https://dl.dell.com/downloads/DL98840_Avamar-19.3-for-Client-Upgrades.avp
You also can install that using AVI. That will update the downloads page of your Avamar server, so you can download the client MSI packages and install them on your clients. There is no way to download the individual client installers from Dell separately, you need the whole package.
Please remember to check the compatibility guide to ensure your client/server combination is supported.

Will the update of Avamar 19.3 for Client Upgrades, delete the 19.2 clients available in the downloads page of our Avamar server ?
Yes, I believe so. It will update the Client Downloads to 19.3. You can also use Avamar Client Manager to upgrade clients, without applying the Client Downloads package to Avamar. Client Manager uses a separate package. The download is called "Avamar 19.3 for Push Client Installers"
Will our 19.2 clients already registered and backuping in our Avamar Server, still being functionnal ?
Yes.
Of course, you could just open an SR to have your whole Avamar Server upgraded to 19.3 (if you have a valid support contract). Dell's Remote Change Management team would be able to do that for you.
