Avamar Solve Desktop

Hi Everyone,

I am using solve desktop for first time for Avamar and I can see only following available documents for Avamar.

I was expecting more documents for upgrading different clients and server. Does that all we get for Avamar in Solve Desktop ?

Server upgrades are not enabled for customers or partners to perform. They must be performed by Engineers who are trained certified to upgrade Avamar servers. To engage EMC to upgrade your server open an Upgrade Service request for your Avamar Server.

If you are looking to install or Upgrade the Client Downloads web pages, or the Client installers for the Client Manager on your Avamar Server, you can find the instructions Document on support.emc.com here: “Avamar Client-Only System Upgrades Technical Note”. There is also a training video on the subject on EMC's Community network located here.

However if you are looking for information on specific Clients or Client Plugins, you will find your informatin in the corresponding Client User's guide in the Avamar Documentation website: https://support.emc.com/products/759_Avamar-Server/Documentation/.

If you are looking to use the Avamar Client Manager to remotely push out client upgrades from the Avamar Server, please consult the Client Manager section of the Avamar Administration Guide for the Version of the Avamar Server that you are currently running.

Thank you Jeff.

For Data Domain, I can see documents to upgrade OS and other documents, and I was hoping to find similar documents for Avamar too. I thought might be there is some issue with my solve desktop and just wanted to confirm on it.
