Avamar Replication - Consolidation & Cascading Replication

Can I move replicated data  (that's in a replica domain) to another Avamar instance and then replicated again from there.  Is this possible?

AV controlling 2 DataDomains ( DD1 & DD2) and I need to move the data from DD1 ( Long term retention - replicated from remote site ) to DD2 - New system that will be around for a long time. The goal is to decommission DD1as soon as all data is off of it and to keep only one Avamar node.

Thank you

This is possible but I recommend working with professional services. There are particular flags required to replicate the /REPLICATE domain and these flags disable certain safety checks. That can make this type of operation more at risk of issues due to human error.
