Avamar monitoring using SNMP traps

Hi All,

We have several Avamar servers. I am planning to add all the Avamar servers to monitoring using SNMP traps.

The admin guide has the steps to configure the SNMP. For version 7.2, these steps are on page 204. I followed the steps and configured SNMP v2 read only access on one of the Avamar server. But our SNMP management application server is unable to receive the traps.

The ports 161 and 162 are allowed.

Both Avamar and SNMP can ping each other.

Does any one have any idea what is issue here?
