Avamar as independant backup block from DPS

I want to run avamar as a independant block from my data domain for recovery purposes. I know using Managed File Replication my avamar and data domain work together but I want them run as indepenant backup block as part of my architecture.

My intentions is to use Collection Replication option on my Data Domain to give me real time replication of my data. 

As for my Avamar I want to know if I can replcate my Avamar meta data to another Avamar appliance independantly?
