Any way to apply MCS patch to multiple grids?
We have an environment with approximately 330 remote grids. Up to now, the method we have used to apply the MCS patch and other updates is to copy an AVP to each system, login to the AVInstaller through a browser and deploy the package, one at a time. As our numbers keep increasing this has become extremely unwieldy and it's not really manageable for our team on a regular basis.
Is there a way we could script this operation through the standard utilities, or any way to improve this process, which is extremely tedious and manual?

Hi,
I am not very sure about this, but recently i was looking for something which can help to perform unique task on multiple grids.
Did you try to explore Avamar REST API for this? For one site you need to install one REST API server and then you can perform several things on multiple grids using this.
Please check with EMC if Avamar REST API can be used for applying MCS patches also and update this thread as well, It will be helpful for others as well.
