AIX restore procedures
Hello,
We have a user who is wanting the procedure to recover an entire AIX system from an Avamar backup, I noticed that the administrator guide for Avamar 7.1 only has procedures for Solaris, SUSE, and RHEL. Are there procedures out there for doing so on AIX?

you recovery an AIX system from a "mksysb" that is not something that Avamar does.
but is built into AIX and is used by NIM.
have them do research on NIM and mksysb
I have been an AIX admin for 16 years, mksysb is your life line using NIM
