Re-occurring issue with vRo workflows timing out

Hi,

 

Anyone that have seen similar issues that workflows in vRo using PowerMax plugin that times out? Seems like it can't establish contact with the Unisphere server at first and then it times out. But once re-running the very same workflow after it timed out, it works like a charm.

Hi @skitbil, how often are you seeing this?  Does it occur when running specific workflow, or any workflow that connects to Unisphere for PowerMax?  Also, can you confirm that timeout was hit while Unipshere server was online?  Feel free to open a support case if you'd like related logs reviewed.

It's a custom workflow that have issues, that workflow invokes actions and workflows from the PowerMax module to achieve expansion of MetroDR volumes. Currently I get re-occurring read timeouts on the first task which is invoking the action "Get volume by WWN". The Unisphere server is online and reachable, re-running the very same workflow or something else right after the failure it works every time. 

I'll go ahead and open a case to get to the bottom with this.
