x17 R2, RGB lights not working

I've been using this laptop for a while and at the beginning, from time to time, I had to open awcc for my keyboard lights to turn on, as well as the power button light, the alienware head on the top of the lid and also the stadium. 

Now, out of nowhere i realized that the keyboard lights are the only one working, other lights are off. I can go in the awcc and change the lights for the keyboard, change colors etc but when i try for the stadium, alien head and the power button they don't even turn on. 

I followed all the steps i found so far - basically every step in this video https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000141237/alienware-fx-light-issues - nothing worked.

I installed the last version of awcc after following the same steps and now i am back at my older version of awcc but could never see a light on any of these.

The laptop was never damaged so it must be a software problem but can't find a fix and it's very frustrating.

Anyone else dealing with this? Any fix?
