x17 R2, just stopped charging

Im having an issue where my x17 R2 just stopped charging. It worked fine and everything but it did not charge. I believe my focusrite audio console overcharged and it took out something in the laptop.

I bought a new 330w charger, (however it says it only works for  an x17 r1)  when i conencted it,  nothing happened. Doesnt even recognize it, im wondering if i should buy a new charge port, or if it would be more reccomenbdable buying a new 330w charger that its specific for the R2. Also, the light ring on my original 330w charger works, so thats why im guessing its the charge port.
